Tech help visits
I'm Austin, a Clark County local, and I come to your home to help with phones, tablets, TVs and computers. I go one step at a time and leave the steps written down.
I visit homes in Vancouver, WA, Salmon Creek, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground and Ridgefield.
What I help with
- Phones and tablets. iPhone, Android or iPad. I can set up a new one, move everything over from the old one, make the text bigger, and help you send photos to the grandkids.
- TVs and streaming. If the remote stopped making sense, or the sound bar no longer works with the TV, I'll sort it out.
- Computers, printers and Wi-Fi. If something won't connect or won't print, I'll get it working again.
- Scam protection. Show me the email or phone call that worried you. I'll tell you plainly whether it's a scam, and set up your phone so fewer of them get through.
- Setting up something new. A video doorbell, a smart speaker, or whatever just came in the mail.
- Lessons. We go one thing at a time, and I write the steps down so you have them after I leave.
I don't do repairs, like a cracked screen or a dead battery, but I'm happy to put on a screen protector. If something needs fixing, I'll tell you which repair shop I'd trust with it.
Where and when
I'll come to you in Vancouver, WA and the towns around it (Salmon Creek, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground and Ridgefield), and if you're somewhere else in Clark County, just ask.
I have a day job, so I'm free weekday evenings from 6 to 8 PM and weekends from 10 AM to 4 PM. Evening and weekend visits make it easy for a son, daughter or neighbor to be there too.
What it costs
$100 for the first hour
After that, it's $50 for each extra half hour. Most visits take about an hour.
No fix, no charge. If I can't get it working, you don't pay.
