How I choose what goes on this site

One person picks everything here, and only for one reason: it makes an older adult's day a little safer or easier.

Who picks these

I do. Caring Curator is one person, not a brand with a review team. It started as a project to help families find what their loved ones need, and everything on the site came out of that digging. More on the about page.

What has to be true before it goes on

Three questions, and it has to pass all three:

I lean toward things that have been around a while and are widely owned, read what real buyers say about whether they hold up, and prefer anything that asks for less grip, less balance, and less setup. Plenty of well-reviewed things don't make it, and a thin category stays thin rather than getting padded out.

Where the money comes from

What this isn't

This site is practical shopping help, not medical advice. Everyone's needs are different. For health questions, or before making a significant change, please talk with a doctor, pharmacist, or occupational therapist.
